Practical Pre-School magazine presented a Silver award in its Toys and Games category to Kids II for its Bright Starts® Bounce Bounce Baby™ Activity Zone. Practical Pre-School’s awards identify and reward excellence in educational equipment, childcare, books and toys. Products are reviewed for suitability for use in professional childcare and educational settings. Criteria included appeal to children, durability, adaptability, educational value, play value and value for the money. Kids II received a silver award in 2007 for its Bright Starts® Baby’s PlayPlace.
Right Start Best Toy Awards named Bright Starts® Tropical Fun Around We Go!™ Activity Station as a Highly Commended Award Winner in its Nursery and Baby Accessories category. Families with appropriately aged children initially judged products based on in-home use for a few months. This enabled them to see if the product retained the children’s interest, was durable, and delivered value for money. Families described Around We Go! as “comfortable, an ideal height for a toddler and baby to play together.” Products that were selected from this round were then judged by Right Start’s Toy Testing Manager and Editor who select final winners.
