| (Alpharetta,GA) – Friday, September 01, 2006 Organizers for Kind + Jugend 2006 anticipate record numbers for its September 15-17th show in Cologne, Germany.
More than 600 exhibitors from 40 countries will showcase product to more than 12,000 buyers from around the world. The show features furniture, strollers, educational toys, safety items, hygiene products and clothing.
Exhibitors can submit products manufacturered after September 2005 for consideration of the Kind + Jugend Innovation Award. Categories include mobile devices for babies, furniture and textiles, baby care, baby toys and baby and kidís fashion.
Last yearís winners included a car seat with adjustable headrests, a convertible childís bed and a portable baby phone with monitoring devices. This year, 30 North American manufacturers will be exhibiting at the Koelnmesse produced show, up 50% over last year. Most U.S. exhibitors will be showing in the U.S. Group Exhibit, located in hall 11.2, one of the three halls at the Cologne trade fair grounds. U.S. exhibitors include Alex, Baby Planet, Kalencom, Offic, Safeway Systems, Second Nature, SLP Enterprises and Kids II.
