Colors are very neutral and toys are engaging without being overwhelming.I really liked that you could remove the lion piece and use as a cuddle blanket. The removable toys were a huge bonus in that we did not have to buy separate toys for the car seat.

It is not as big as I would have liked for it to be but works well until the baby is more mobile. We use it for tummy time as well as having the baby on his back and trying to reach up to grasp the different hanging toys.

He was captivated with the mirror and giggled every time he swung his arms and hit the toys. Can't wait until he is really able to grab on to the toys and enjoy some play time - entertain himself for a short while.

My daughter also really loved the lion pillow (and the taggies on it). At 5 months, she could only reach the toys off the bottom tier and wasn't too interested in the musical bird yet.

It comes with several toys that hang, and includes extra spaces to hang more toys. The parrot makes music, and the pad itself is really soft.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! I received this activity gym a month ago for my then 4 month old. This is my third child so I have been through multiple activity gyms. First, I will start off by saying I absolutely love this gym. It is more compact than my previous ones, which makes it able to fit easily into my standard Pack-n-Play for protected entertainment. The two cross bars sit a bit high, so at 5 months my son still isn’t able to reach the center musical bird. I like that you can choose to leave the music on constant or switch it to sing when the baby hits the bird. My son really enjoys the teething monkey that I placed on the lowest tab, though. I am very particular about how many flashing lights and stimulation we place in front of our infant. This activity gym is perfect as there are no lights, just one musical bird, which provides the perfect amount of brain stimulation and entertainment. If your baby is big enough he will enjoy lying on the pillow. If your baby is small you can place him on the mat itself until he gains better head and core control. If your baby enjoys tummy time then the tags on the pillow are great. One of my favorite things about this activity gym is that my son will be able to use this past the 1 year mark. As he eventually outgrows the hanging toys, he will still be able to use the mat as a toddler to lay on floor. It’s very easy to clean as you can throw it in the wash on gentle cycle. The only minor thing I noticed was when putting it together, the box shows there is a small blue tab attached to the top of the cross bars to hook your bird to. I could not locate this tab and it appears to be missing. So I just hooked my bird to the black pieces of cloth. The absence of the tab does not appear to affect the quality of the mat or the bird. It still works great. I would highly recommend this product.
