Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty Product We got this as a gift during my wife's babyshower on Oct 25, 2014, and is meant for kids in 12-36 months range. Our boy turned 1 today, and we decided to open this product for him on his b'day. Well, the motor lasted 10 seconds and stopped rotating thereafter. The buttons are working but the motor is not rotating anymore. This is the worst product we have received/ purchased so far, and it stopped working even before my little boy could see it. Now since this is not under warranty, I am not sure what can I do, even though this was op-ened only today. We have the gift receipt with us still, if that helps. If this is not replaced, this will the last 'Bright Starts' toy ever that I have ever had.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bought this toy and less than a week later the motor went out. Exchanged it for another same thing. Tried onr last attempt and happened again. Would never recommend this toy. As much as my daughter loved it, it was a HUGE waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Utter garbage Pretty much dead right out of the box. Put the batteries in, loaded a few balls in it, and flipped the switch. What came from the toy was akin to the screech of a banshee, a high pitched sound of motor screaming in despair. What I can assess is that the motor is running at extreme RPMs as the spinning bowl goes nowhere. My daughter doesn't know that it doesn't work correctly and screams as it now sits on a shelf, out of reach. I wouldn't recommend this toy for anyone. Judging from the reviews it appears I'm not alone in the disappointment that we've experienced with this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cool concept but very noisy I was really excited about this toy because at the time we didn't own any anything that popped balls into the air. However, this was a little bit of a let down for me. I knew this toy was going to make noise, like music playing and fun beach sounds, but what bothers me the most is that you can barely hear those sounds over the spinning motor that brings the balls into the popper. It is soo loud that you can barely talk to anyone while it's playing. My child doesn't care about this though- he loves it and plays with it everyday and giggles every time a ball pops into the air.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fun But Too Powerful For Batteries My son was instantly drawn to this toy with its bright colors and fun balls. It was easy to assemble, which is always a plus for this mom. However, after a few times of playing with it, the motor would stop working. It seems this toy is too powerful for the batteries.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from THE TOY DOES NOT WORK!!!!!!! Hi my sister bought this toy for my daughter for Christmas now we put it together for her and the balls were not popping up or anything the music plays but the toy does no actions. So we went back to the store where it was purchased and exchanged it and once again we get it all the way home and put it together and again it does not work and not to mention the instructions included in the toy are the worst how are you going to include instructions for a toy that must be assembled with no words its stupid.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Returning Again My daughter received this toy for Christmas from her grandparents. It worked for about 2 weeks and then the motor to spin the balls and pop them, stopped working. The lights and music still worked though. I exchanged it for a new one, because my daughter loves it. We had the new one for about 3 weeks and the same thing happened! The music plays and the lights all work just fine, but the motor for the spinner and popper has stopped working. I am not impressed. I am taking back to the store AGAIN.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fun! I have tried theBright Starts Spin n' Slide ball popper with my son, and at five months he was definitely not ready for it:)) Next, I had friends over, so I could see how a one year old reacts to it, and a two and a half year old as well. Overall, I can say they both enjoyed it, so the entertainment factor scores high for this toy. As far as the educational factor, the three buttons that only say colors were utterly uninteresting for both boys, they were more interested in watching the balls pop and chasing them. I think the battery is overkill, four C batteries is way to much for a toy, I have swings and bouncers that only need 3, but other than that I believe this to be a very entertaining toy, at least for a while, and any mom knows how even ten minutes of self entertainment is worth a lot!
