Rated 4 out of 5 by from Convenient and Practical This travel play yard is definitely convenient and practical for having something to take while on the go somewhere. Here are the pros and cons I found with this item: Pros: great compact size for travel so while open it does not take up a lot of space, zip infant top feels very sturdy for baby, folds up small for taking with you, material is easy to clean. Cons: heavier than I was expecting, if using for toddler it could feel a little wobbly if they were to pull at sides, folding it back up and packing could be a little easier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice simple playyard This playyard is very easy to assemble and the napper part in the top is genius! Replaces the need for an inclined sleeper like a Rock n Play. Although it doesn't rock, it's very easy to "jiggle" the whole thing while the baby is in the napper. The playyard in general does not feel very sturdy as far as containing an older child goes, so I'm not sure I would leave an older child unattended in it while I'm in another room. I worry that it might collapse if my son tried to climb out. This is the perfect playyard for a baby as it's easy to assemble, jiggles easily to soothe baby, has the awesome inclined napper, and is just very uncomplicated (we have a different brand playyard that just has too many parts and features). The fabric colors are also very cute and classy and will match any decor!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy set up We were interested in getting a portable pack 'n play that could accommodate our growing little one, but was light enough for us to consider traveling with it. We like the TravelSimple Playard for those reasons as well as the fact that it's super easy to set up. After taking a read through the instructions, set up was quick and straightforward. If I have one nit to pick, it's that one of the rubber feet on the bottom of one of the legs has come off after only a few weeks of having the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy to use I have a graco playard but it's just so heavy and a bit cumbersome to travel with. We were taking our 10 month old out of the country and I decided to give this a try. It was so easy to put together and take apart. It is lighter than the Graco and comes with a great carrying sack. It also comes with a bassinet that attaches to the frame. We didn't use it for this trip or daughter, but I am definitely looking forward to using it for our next child.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Indifferent I can’t decide if I like this play yard or not. It has some things I love but some things I dislike a lot. For starters the assembly is very easy. Much easier in my opinion in comparison to say a Graco pack and play. Also the infant insert at the top is very neat. It zippers inside and makes for a great bassinet. If I had this earlier, I would get a lot of use out of it when my baby was a newborn. Great place to have the baby hang out and sleep during the day and the height is nice so you aren’t reaching over too much. With that being said though, I find that it’s very difficult to reach over and get a baby out of the crib portion. If it’s a baby that won’t stand up to be picked up and you are not a super tall person, I find it very awkward. I have to reach down so far to get my son out of it so I would not recommend using it for a baby that won’t stand up pretty tall when asked to come out of the crib. Also like most travel cribs, the mattress part is very hard despite the built in cushion. Lastly, my husband mentioned that the asymmetrical design drives him crazy. One side is higher than the other so if you are super OCD like my husband, this feature will drive you crazy. It looks like it’s been installed wrong or is not level on the ground however it is designed this way so that when the infant insert is in place, one side is raised for the baby’s head. So all in all, I like this as a bassinet but not really as a playyard or travel crib and there are some good features but some not so great ones either. I’m not sure If I would recommend this product. It would depend on what someone’s needs were...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light and portable The playard is easy to put together and easy to store. The frame is very lightweight and sturdy and will be accompanying us on many trips. The color is sleek and the animal detailing adds a nice touch. The only negative comment is that the bottom mat could have been a little plusher – it’s fine when the playard is on carpet, but is a little thin for non-padded surfaces.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great place for newborn sleep! We got this, mostly, to have somewhere for our newborn to sleep those first couple months. We also have two kids in cribs, so we need two travel cribs. My favorite feature is the bassinet top with a little place for baby to sleep. It has a slight incline, which is great for newborns. The colors are also super neutral, so they look good in our bedroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the size! This is a great playard for small rooms. Most other playards are bigger and don't work when you are limited in space. I like the calming blue color. When you live in a two story house and have an infant, it helps so much to have somewhere to lay the baby down on each floor. This playard is great!
